Many years ago, we challenged our Master Pastry Chefs to develop the finest fruit cake in America. After taste-testing several other popular fruit cakes and trying many recipes, our Master Pastry Chefs knew that the ideal fruit cake needed the perfect balance of fruit and nuts mixed into a rich, delicious cake batter. Not settling for second best, they worked some Swiss Colony magic until they achieved perfection…a fruit cake that contains 76% cherries, pineapple, pecans, English walnuts and other fruits in a buttery-rich batter.

Butter Stollen
Pineapple, cherries, raisins, citron, almonds and pecans are all wrapped up in a dense, buttery "coffee cake" that's baked to golden perfection. Creamy melted butter and a fine dusting of powdered sugar provide the crowning touch. It's no wonder our customers have told us they really love our old-world recipe for Butter Stollen!

"White Christmas" Coconut Log
